Privacy Policy
The short version. There are no accounts and no sign-up. You never give us your name, your email or anything else, because nothing on this site asks for it. Your game progress is saved in your own browser and is never sent anywhere.
The one thing that is measured on this site is anonymous traffic analytics, described below. When you play one of these games on somebody else's site — Poki, CrazyGames and the like — that site's own privacy policy applies to it, not this one.
Who this covers
This policy covers playzookagames.vercel.app and the games published on it: Retro Kick, Cassino, Hop Machine, Starfall and Zippler. The site is run by Fausto Fonseca, trading as Playzooka.
What is stored on your device
Each game saves its own settings and progress in your browser's local
storage, under names beginning with that game's own name — for example
retrokick.career.v1. Between them the games store:
- your settings — controls, sound, language, accessibility options;
- progress and saves — career, levels reached, daily challenges, competitions;
- statistics and best scores;
- how far through a tutorial you are, and which tips you have already been shown.
All of that stays on your device. It is not sent to us, it is not sent to anybody else, and there is no copy of it anywhere but your browser. Nothing in it identifies you. Clearing your browser's site data for this domain erases it permanently — which also means your progress is gone, so it is worth knowing that is what the button does.
Games that offer an install option also keep a copy of the game's own files on your device so it can run offline. That cache is game files only: pictures, sounds and code, no data about you.
Analytics on this site
This site uses Google Analytics (measurement ID
G-BTDNPSWYFC) to count visits and see which games people open.
Google acts as our data processor and collects usage information — pages
viewed, roughly how long for, device and browser type, and an approximate
location worked out from your IP address. It sets identifiers in your
browser to tell one visit from another. We do not use it to build a profile
of you, and we never combine it with anything else, because there is nothing
else to combine it with.
You can read Google's privacy policy, and you can switch this off entirely with Google's browser opt-out add-on or by blocking analytics in your browser or extension of choice. The games work exactly the same either way.
When you play on another site
These games are also published on game portals such as Poki and CrazyGames, which run the game inside their own page.
Those builds are not the same as the one on this site. Google Analytics is removed from them completely — it is stripped out when the portal version is built, so none of the tracking described above happens there. What runs instead is the portal's own software, which shows their adverts and collects their own data. That is governed by the portal's privacy policy, not by this one, and if you want to know what they collect or how to opt out, theirs is the document to read.
The only thing we send through the portal is anonymous progress information about the game itself — which tutorial step was reached, whether a first match was finished. It contains no identifier of any kind and cannot be traced back to a person. We use it to find out where a game is confusing and fix it.
Children
These games are made for a general audience and contain nothing that asks a player for personal information, so we do not knowingly collect any from children. If you play on a portal, that portal decides how adverts are handled for younger players and applies its own children's privacy rules. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal information, write to the address below and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, data protection law — the GDPR in the EU and UK, the CCPA in California, and similar laws elsewhere — gives you the right to see what is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to it being processed. In practice:
- Everything stored on your device is yours to delete whenever you like: clear this site's data in your browser settings.
- Analytics: use the opt-out linked above, or ask us and we will make a deletion request to Google on your behalf.
- Anything else: email us. We hold no accounts and no database, so in most cases the honest answer will be that there is nothing of yours to send you — but ask, and you will get a real reply.
We never sell or share personal information, because we do not collect any to sell.
Changes to this policy
If what the games do changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top changes too. There is no mailing list to notify, so the date is how you can tell.
